Choco – Cherry Banana Ice Cream

I know it’s the wrong time of year for it, but we still love our “ice cream” in this house! This recipe is quick, easy, and tasty! At the same time, it’s allergy-free (for us).

Matt said it tasted like banana and that he doesn’t like bananas.  Maybe he’s bananas, because the kids and I really enjoyed it!

To make this, you will need the following:

4 cubed, frozen bananas

1/3 cup frozen cherries

1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or these if regular chocolate chips don’t work with your specific allergy or sensitivity)

1 capsule Culturelle

food processor or blender

Put bananas and cherries into blender or food processor. Open up probiotic capsule and pour contents in with your fruit. Blend for five to ten minutes to achieve desired consistency. Add in chocolate chips and mix for a minute or so, and you’re done!  Serve immediately.  (Serves 4.)

  1. Klara, you should try it! Tricking your kids into thinking something is tasty and junky when it’s really tasty and healthy is one of the great perks of parenting!😄
